Mini Authenticator

The mini authenticator has all of the characteristics of the standard flange mounted unit, except for its small size and very light weight (see previous pages). It is one and one half inches (38.1 mm) in diameter, and one and one eighth inches (28.5 mm) overall height. It weighs only three and one half ounces ( 102 grams ).

The ultra precise ball used to evaluate the spindle's axis of rotation, is one-half-inch (12.7 mm) diameter, ultra fine grain, high chrome, high carbon, hardened stainless steel.

This material has a high electrical conductivity that gives excellent results when used with capacitance gages.
