Modified Balls

Modified Balls of almost any configuration are manufactured in our Los Angeles facility. Our facility includes complete E. D. M. (Electrical Discharge Machining), conventional machining and grinding capabilities. Balls with flats, holes, threads, or with stems brazed, welded, glued, screwed or riveted can be produced.

A fairly common modification of a ball is to have a stripe of the diameter of the sphere ground cylindrical. This is often done to provide clearance on ball plug gages.
