Probe Characterizing Spheres
( aka probe calibration spheres, probe character sphere
or datum spheres ) are used to evaluate and determine
compensation needed for errors in C.M.M. measuring
probes. Most errors and problems on C.M.M.'s are in the
probe. This should be the first measuring device
purchased to check the C.M.M. See: Technical Data Sheet: CMM-7. |
